I went to Batad, Ifugao over the weekend. Yes, Batad, that quaint little village up in the mountains. The trip was in line with my, uh, quest to live a little (bit more). The ostensible purpose was to see more of what the Philippines had to offer. The actual goal was, of course, bragging rights to having conquered such a tough trek (if I may say so myself).

right at the cinema’s CR just after the movie was shown. I said it was either pandering or exploitative, depending on the emotional state of the viewer. I imagine I ended up ruining the afterglow of the movie for some of the girls, mid-swoon over Jim Sturgess.
Of course, I called dibs on Jim Sturgess before the movie began.

Let's get physical.
Officially started my gym-ing today. First day program was a bitch. Three sets of pushing, pulling, and lifting things heavy, much too heavy for my puny arms. Have a feeling waking up tomorrow will bring a lot of pain. You’d think the Gym-Boy would start me off easy, get me to enjoy the idea of gym-ing first. At least, I did. Not a chance! Fail!
Ran to a bar to have my secretary’s certificate signed by the notaryo. Ran back to the office. Had the sec cert scanned. Emailed the sec cert to client’s auditor.
Went home.
Ate dinner. Watched a bit of tv. Turned on the computer to check my email.
Leche. Di ko pala na-attach yung sec cert. Sayang lang pagod ko.

Time management
Resolved to be more organized in my life. Now tracking how I spend my money and also making an effort to be more conscious of time. Heavy metal band = human
Since opposing counsel told me that he’s part of a heavy metal band, I’ve started to regard him as a human being. Before this, he was just evil cyborg opposing counsel who must be stopped in his evil tracks by Wonder Woman.

Kakauwi ko lang pala from Hong Kong. Pang-sampung araw na today at wala pa naman ako symptoms ng H1N1 so ibig sabihin wala akong nasagap na virus dun. I’ll post pictures later, when I can be bothered to tear myself away from streaming Gossip Girls Season Two :)

I received the Order from the Judge recently. And, apparently, the Shakespeare stunt worked. The Judge denied defendants’ motions to declare plaintiff (that’s me!) to have waived its right to present further evidence. Instead, we are being given three (3) more hearing dates for our witnesses. Awesome!

Apparently, the Court had already decided on the Motion for Partial Reconsideration we filed while I was still with MABG. I did research and drafted the Motion.
